  • WHY AREN'T YOU PARTNERED WITH INSURANCE?
    As many of you who have dealt with insurance may have experienced, the medical industry can be rigid, restrictive, and is often times too involved in the patient-provider relationship. Insurance companies have the authority to request access to records; scrutinize, limit, and direct treatment; question plans, and ultimately dictate the frequency of treatment and as well as how many sessions they are willing to cover for the patient. Insurers following the medical model of treatment also require a diagnosis. While this can be provided; I believe a diagnosis labels you as the client, can become a focus a person’s identity rather than a roadmap to a solution, and says nothing about how you are able to cope with things, what your strengths are, or what events have happened to you to provide context around the challenges you may be currently facing in life. It assumes a timeline of recovery and makes the assumption that you have to be “fixed” or “cured.” I do not believe any of us need to be “fixed” or “cured”. I do believe we all at times require a means to find our ways back to balance - Body/Mind/Spirit/Soul - and an integrated path towards unity of our parts can look very different from one person to the next. Ultimately, I want more for you and am committed to offering you a personalized approach with the freedom to customize treatment based on your individual needs and goals for therapy.     I accept credit/debit cards, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and Venmo.
  • HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?
    $200 - Diagnostic assessment $150 / Individual session $100 / Clinical Supervision session $50 / Individual guided meditation session Sliding scale opportunities are available based on financial need.   • I WANT TO USE INSURANCE, HOW DO I CLARIFY MY BENEFITS?
    You can contact your insurance company and ask the following questions: What is the coverage for outpatient psychotherapy services? Do I have out-of-network benefits as part of my insurance coverage? Do I have a deductible (and if so, what is it and have I met it yet)? What is the percentage of reimbursement for an out-of-network provider? What is the timeline for receiving reimbursement once service claims have been submitted?
  • ARE MEETINGS HELD IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY?
    Currently I provide services both in-person and via telehealth platform to those located throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I have in-person session availability at my office located in Bedford New Hampshire. Teletherapy is a great option for those with busy schedules, live a greater distance away from my office location, or preferring to talk from the comforts of their own space.
  • DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
    I am considered an out-of-network provider with most insurance organizations. If you decide to use insurance and have a plan with out-of-network benefits, you are able to submit claims to your 3rd Party Payer for your reimbursement with a Superbill which can be provided as often as requested.
  • HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE BEFORE I START FEELING BETTER?
    My hope is that you'll begin to experience relief simply by knowing you're not alone as you embark on your path of self-growth. That being said, the number of sessions varies and depends on the challenges you're facing, goals you're setting, and strategies we collaboratively develop together. Some folks feel satisfied after a handful of meetings while others enjoy a longer-term relationship.
  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
    Life happens! Your appointment time will be reserved for you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, or whatever frequency we determine together that makes sense for you. There is no charge if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will be processed at your full session fee.
